Ken Urbina

Ken Urbina was born with music in his bones. By 8 he was singing, playing piano, clarinet, flute, and sax. He discovered computer recording and sequencing at 12, which led him to teach himself composition and began composing and arranging works for sax and choral ensembles. Ken received a BFA from NYU in Theatre Arts, where he developed an interest in sound design and theatrical composition. He is the Musical Director of Proximity Theatre Company and composes music for all of their productions.  His other current projects include a hip hop/soul album (Sin City), a solo electronic dance pop album, a latin folk feature film score (Amaru), and music and sound design for animated web series (ADASport).  Ken is a multi-instrumentalist composer who works tirelessly each day to create magic.
